Care Ambassadors Scheme
Care Ambassadors are qualified and experienced care workers who act as role models to inspire and encourage young people to consider careers in social care.
This scheme was started in 2003 and has been successful in raising awareness and encouraging people to move into social care. Although there is no national organisation as such, should you wish to find out more about what is going on in your area, the best thing would be to search your region and see what they are doing. For example, London, Bolton, Manchester and the South West regions are offering a number of interesting initiatives.
